“13:14” is a coming-of-age story that documents the journey of Juanpa Zurita. The devastating September 19, 2017 earthquake in Mexico hit at approximately 13:14 pm. The earth shook, lives were lost and homes were destroyed. Juanpa, with good intentions, but very little experience, set out to help. He used his social media influence to get support from actors, content creators, and celebrity singers. The funds he raised were for the reconstruction of the small town of Ocuilan. It was one of the many towns that were left devastated near Mexico City. Juanpa and his friends took action and implemented a program to rebuild the small town. But; the journey is anything but easy, with no previous experience, criticism from many, and having to sort through all kinds of problems that came their way. The group is put through the ultimate test of resilience.
