Overwhelmed by the memory of the Israeli Embassy attack that happened 15 years ago, Yosi prays in perfect Hebrew while he waits for someone from the DA’s office, so he can negotiate his safety in exchange for giving them information on the greatest criminal conspiracy in Argentina. The interview doesn’t go as he expected, but in a display of efficiency and professional training, he reverses the situation. We go into the past to see the beginning of Yosi’s career, when during his training in the police intelligence learning center he’s chosen for his potential and his personal history of resenting Jewish people, and he’s promoted as an intelligence officer, getting the mission of a lifetime: infiltrating Argentina’s Jewish community. To do that, he has to become the perfect Jewish person, get a new identity and leave his past behind, his history, his loved ones. José Pérez changes his name to Yosi Péres, with an “S”, gets a job in the Jewish neighborhood, joins the Hebrew Society’s Library, gets circumcised, and make friends with the members of OFAKIM. He even catches the attention of Dafne, the daughter of big shot Saúl Menajem. His contact, Claudia, tells him about the Andinia Plan, the operation in which, in a procedure similar to the creation of the state of Israel, Jewish people are planning to expropriate Patagonia in 1998. Yosi’s mission is to integrate into the Jewish community and collect information from day one. The Embassy of Israel is a key place to do intelligence. Unexpectedly, it’s Yosi’s beautiful voice that opens the doors: The Hebrew Society’s chorus will sing there on Independence Day, and Yosi has joined it. Claudia warns him that it’s easy to get in, but difficult to get out. Her words resonate on Yosi’s ears, while he goes through the security protocol for entering the Embassy, under the distrustful eyes of the security guards.

Convinced that Garrido, his former police academy classmate, is the one behind Jonás’ kidnapping, Yosi pays him a visit to try to make a deal with him. While Garrido won’t cooperate or negotiate, Yosi discovers something he can use to pressure him. Back in the past, Yosi has not only made it into the Embassy, but onto Dafne’s radar, which allows him to get closer to Saúl. Happy with the success of this first mission, he gives Claudia the information, including the Embassy blueprints he drew. Without suspecting that someone’s watching him closely, pulling strings to unmask him, Yosi continues with his strategy, singing in the choir, moving forward with Dafne, going to protests, to OFAKIM debates, and living the daily life of a young Jewish man. But he’s not able to get any good information about the Andinia Plan, with everyone dismissing him saying it’s a myth. If he wants to get what’s needed to thwart it on time, he must get further in, deeper. When one night, Victor, Eli, and Dafne are attacked in the street by a neo-Nazi group, with an old acquaintance of Yosi among them. Yosi fights back to defend them without hesitation. By realizing his intervention is considered a heroic act, he comes up with an idea that will be useful not only to consolidate his relationship with Dafne and his place in the community, but to make Saúl Menajem notice him, and consider him a valuable resource. Meanwhile, the person who has their sights on him finds a way to expose him and gets ready for action.

It’s 2007, and Yosi is in the middle of a complex operation to recover Jonás from the hands of a group of kidnappers that follow Garrido’s orders. He will have to use something valuable to Garrido if he wants to recover the kid. Back in the past, Yosi’s project to infiltrate into Argentina’s Jewish community is jeopardized by Aaron’s attempt to prove he’s not Jewish, which makes him come up with a lie that lets him get away with it. He reinforces his position in OFAKIM and destabilizes Victor’s leadership by questioning how he handles the relationship with MAPAM, which makes him fail in obtaining a seat in Argentina’s Zionist Organization. Meanwhile, Yosi makes his relationship with Dafne official, to the point that he can roam freely in Menajem’s house during the night, while she sleeps, spying on Saúl’s office. One of those nightly visits pays off when he intercepts a fax that’s coming in, that has revealing information for Claudia. In the meantime, a mysterious woman visits Eli, which sparks Yosi’s curiosity, and one of Zuni’s customers, the rabbi of the neighborhood’s temple, could either be a potential friend or foe. Saúl’s interest in his son-in-law grows to the point he calls him to offer him a job. While he doesn’t really understand what it implies, Yosi accepts, and wins a lot of money and Saúl’s trust. Saúl shows up at is house unannounced when he’s about to sing with the chorus, to offer him a new job that entails more responsibility, a trip and, as Yosi is about to find out, a lot more danger.

Feeling cornered by the circumstances of 2007, Yosi talks to his old contact, Claudia, who gives him a final message: if he wants to save his son, he must do what his father did. Yosi visits his father’s grave thinking about what Claudia said, and in a flashback, they show us what she meant. Back in 1987, we find Yosi in Port Stroessner, sent by Saúl. To his surprise, among the men that welcome him, there’s a familiar face. Little by little, Yosi will understand what this business is about, and will meet his father-in-law’s partners. When they find out the money they had to deliver was more than what was needed, they suggest Yosi keep a part of it, playing with his nerves. But that money belongs to someone, and offering it to Yosi has a purpose. When he returns from his trip, Saúl tries to decide if he can definitely trust Yosi. Yosi, on his part, tells Claudia, who reveals the identities of some of the characters he has met, and asks him to mic Saúl. Yosi goes to talk to Eli, and finds her listening to some mysterious cassettes that make her cry. They discuss the purpose of Yosi’s disappearance, which happened to be while the MAPAM meeting took place, to get the chair in ASO. The time has come when Yosi meets Saúl after the job he ordered him to do. Yosi doesn’t understand what he went for, but he learned some stuff. Saúl offers him a lot of money for him to work with him full-time. While talking, Yosi tells Saúl about MAPAM and the seat, to see if he can do something for him. But while his relationship with Saúl and his performance in his new job improves, things with Dafne are tense, as she complains on Yosi’s absence, who starts manipulating her to fulfill his mission as a spy in the house. Back again in 2007, a visit to Jonás school has an unexpected outcome, that makes Yosi look for help where he least expected it.

In Saúl’s kitchen, a doctor friend works tirelessly to save Yosi’s life. Saúl, who doesn’t want him to die in there, lets him recover in Dafne’s room, who Yosi sees in his dreams and hallucinations, not being able to confirm if she’s really there. When he feels strong enough and it’s time for him to leave, Saúl tells Yosi he owes debt to him. At the door, another presence from the past drives him to his destination for the following days. Meanwhile, in 1989, Yosi and Garrido keep having a commercial relationship, parallel to their intelligence work. Garrido has lots to sell: he can make lawsuits disappear, or tap faxes, for example, services Yosi requires frequently. With his promotion at work, Yosi is finally invited to fly with Saúl in a private plane heading to Egypt, close to the border of Israel. Lost in the seduction of the Berber nights, Yosi dives into the traditions, customs and peculiarities of that world, and meets some interesting characters. Taken by surprise, he finds out the objective of this trip is completely different to what he expected, and he’s shocked when he finds out the origin of the objects for sale. Later, when something unexpected puts Saúl’s life in danger, Yosi has the opportunity to become a hero, and while he’s alone with his father-in-law, they have an intimate conversation that leads to several revelations.

Victor takes Jonás to Israel, while Eli decides to stay for some time in Buenos Aires to help Yosi by giving him shelter at her house, which ends up causing her trouble when an unexpected visitor intercepts her in the street, putting Yosi’s probabilities of escaping in danger. In 1990, Yosi is practically a part of the Menajem family. But while his bond with Saúl is strong and easy, with Dafne, conflict arises to the point it might ruin all the work he did until now. Her latest crazy idea, to move to Villa la Angostura, causes trouble with Saúl, who asks Yosi to solve it. Meanwhile, Yosi keeps trying to find out Saúl’s moves, listening to his conversations, gathering information. He’s particularly interested in the smuggling of guns, and is shocked to find out who the new characters are and how the upper echelons are involved. Simultaneously, the time has come when Yosi not only receives, but gives back what he was given, and Saúl asks for favors he can’t refuse that start to worry him. On his part, Victor is an obstacle to Yosi’s plans, so he plans a shady way of leaving him out of the game. What happens with Victor, makes Eli open up to Yosi, telling him things about her past, and her mysterious moves lately. Due to a scene that Dafne makes by interrupting Yosi’s Shabat’s celebration at Marcelo’s temple, Yosi ends the argument yelling her that she should grow up, which ends up in Dafne making a discovery that may harm Yosi more than he could ever imagine.

Full of remorse for treating her badly the last time they saw each other, Yosi goes back to his town to see her mother’s grave. Then, he meets Abraham, and by seeing the state he’s in, he decides to take him with him. They settle at the safe house Yosi knows thanks to Marcelo, and have some good times, improving their bond, without knowing things will end in the worst possible way. In the past, things are tense among the OFAKIM members. Victor is violent since his fall out, and Dafne uses the information she discovered about Yosi to put pressure on him and hold him prisoner. At home, Saúl updates Yosi about who’s involved in the gun smuggling. Things get heated, and Saúl’s position is in danger. Yosi decides to ask Garrido to help him with Victor and his lawsuit, if he leaves Eli alone. He makes the most of the encounter and exchanges opinions about Claudia, and the service leaders. Yosi’s mother shows up and tells him she went to get a medical checkup, but he’s involved in so many things, he can’t face her questions. At Marcelo’s birthday, Yosi finds out the house they’re in was a safe house during the military dictatorship. Marcelo lets Yosi know he knows that he’s involved in something complicated, and that the house is there for him, if he needs it. The bank where Yosi works is raided. He talks to Saúl, who says he knows what it is about, and leaves everything in his hands to answer a call from Eli, who has news about the search of her missing ex-boyfriend. Yosi helps her get closure, and they become closer. On the next day, moved by his meeting with Eli, Yosi goes to a meeting at the Embassy, only to find out it changed its location. Soon, he’ll find out something big hides behind that logistical move.

Everything is a blur after the attack. At the Menajem house, tears and distress are followed by Saúl’s personal negotiations, who starts realizing some doors are closing, and he asks Yosi to stay away from them. At the same time Dafne makes angry and jealous claims, and while looking for him, she finds more than she expected. Yosi knows he has to act quickly, but he’s too late: the service offices were shut down and everyone disappeared. Yosi checks what happened, all his memories and quotes he said in different moments start to gather, and while Garrido doesn´t agree, and thinks this is an opportunity, he realizes he has been a useful idiot. When he finally reaches Claudia, she passes a message that says, “every man for himself,” without knowing Garrido won’t waste his time, and is telling the high commands that Claudia and Yosi are dangerous loose ends. Yosi decides he can’t keep waiting, and prepares his escape, destroying sensitive documents. He looks for shelter at Marcelo’s, who’s unconditionally loyal to him. Meanwhile, in 2008, Garrido tries to manipulate the version of the safe house to deny his responsibility, ignoring there’s evidence that implicates him. By assuming his new position in a few days, he won’t only receive an interesting document as a gift from the former director, but will also get a gift from Yosi that could ruin his life. At an animal shelter, the manager, a former journalist who was taken off the media for her annoying investigations, gets a call with a proposal: a story that could give her a unique opportunity to return to the game. Back in 1992, only three months after the attack, Yosi appears again to meet an old acquaintance and makes them a surprising offer.
