For years a man and woman have struggled to survive in a barren and hostile post-apocalyptic wilderness. Each night, the man tells the story of their lost home, forever promising his companion that they’re getting closer to finding it. When the couple stumbles upon the ruins of a vanished society, they find the comforts of civilization –food, shelter –so long lost to them. The man confesses that he’s been using the notion of “home” as a lie to keep them moving forward, a profound betrayal.
