When an older couple's secret staycation gets unexpectedly extended by the lockdown, their fledgling relationship is forced to grow up. An estranged grandfather and granddaughter are forced to spend time together during the lockdown in Chennai. Their time together helps heal old wounds and forge new bonds as they both look forward to a fresh beginning - with each other and the world outside. Sisters Valli and Saraswathi visit their parents, Mahendran and Soundara, with no inkling that they are about to embark on an emotional journey that explores their familial ties and strengthens their bond with their parents like never before. Two old school friends Sadhana and Vikram are inadvertently thrown together in Vikram’s house during the initial All India Lockdown along with Vikram’s mother, Bhairavi. In the process, all three of them end up having an impact on each other’s lives – as Sadhana battles her coke addiction and the arthritic Bhairavi becomes an unlikely caregiver, with Vikram in forced confinement - while the outside world is dealing with a pandemic. Broke during the Covid-19 lockdown, two petty thieves set out on a heist to hit a rumoured jackpot that unravels an unexpected turn of events.
